San Francisco Bay Area Courier Service For Business and Personal

The customer agrees to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws governing the packing, packaging, marking, and labeling of Merchandise for all shipments. All Merchandise must be prepared and packed for safe transportation with ordinary care in handling in an express transportation environment.

Merchandise susceptible to damage as a result of conditions that may be encountered during transit, such as changes in temperature or atmospheric pressure or adverse pavement/road conditions, must be adequately protected by proper packaging. Each shipment must be accompanied by a legible and durably marked description of the nature and quantity of the Merchandise and the name, address, and ZIP code of the recipient. If Merchandise leaks or is damaged due to inadequate packaging, the shipment will be returned to the Customer pickup point, if possible. If the Merchandise cannot be returned because of leakage or damage due to faulty packaging, the Customer is responsible for and will reimburse Godspeed Courier for all costs and fees of any type incurred in connection with the storage and/or disposal of the Merchandise and the clean-up and remediation of any spill or leakage.

Unless a greater value has been placed on a shipment at the time that a request for delivery service is made to the order-taker, it is agreed that in consideration of the rate being charged, the liability of the company for the damages is limited to $100. We can furnish a rate that will provide insurance against loss or damage to the shipment at the higher value declared by the sender, subject to certain limitations.

In any event, we will not be liable for any direct, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income or profits, whether we acknowledge that such damages might be incurred. We will not be liable for the following:

  1. Acts of omission include but are not limited to incorrect declarations of cargo, improper or insufficient packing, securing, marketing, or addressing of your shipment, or for the acts of omission of the recipient.

2. Concealed damage in packages packed and sealed by the shipper.

3. Theft, pilferage, or any attempt thereof from any unattended bicycle or vehicle.

We will not be liable for the loss or damage to a shipment of cash, currency, negotiable instruments, or other prohibited items, including but not limited to: stamps, jewelry, original artwork, or any type of perishable goods. We will not accept hazardous goods, that is, any goods falling within the specifications of the Dangerous Goods Act.
